David: Sveta and I began writing in May, 2007. As time went on, we both knew we would be an excellent match! Our humor, attitudes, beliefs, thoughts and everything was so much alike! Finally in December, 2007, I went to meet her in Sevastopol. Our first date was amazing! I had already made up my mind about wanting her for my wife, and to be with her for the rest of my life so I proposed to her on this very same night. She accepted, and now we are on our way to being the happiest couple on Earth.   I was SO pleased to find this beautiful woman with a depth of beauty, which goes all the way to her soul. Imagine everything is beautiful about her! I am very blessed to ever have found such a woman! It took me a few years of serious search, but I finally found the woman I have always dreamed of. Her family is GREAT! And her daughter Anastasia is such a cute young lady! I am pleased to think of all of them as my own family now!   I have met several nice ladies here through the years, but only now has everything been perfect! All I can tell you guys no need to settle for less of a woman, the best are all here.   Svetlana: Being happy is being with the person you love. I met my love, David, thanks to my agency that became the bridge connecting our hearts and souls. When I look into his soul I see my own reflection. Finding love, being happy and content are the feelings worth living for and they are the feelings both David and I experience. We are so happy together!   Click here to read more testimonials from happy couples...

While a select few of the ladies who participate in our program do model in their free time, the vast majority of them have never stepped foot on a runway or graced the pages of a magazine. In fact, most of our ladies have average, everyday jobs.   So, why do they all look so beautiful? First, we've made it a point to select some of the most stunning single women Russia and Ukraine have to offer. When you couple that with the fact that European women, especially those from Russia, take great pride in their appearance, it should come as no surprise that the ladies who participate in our program wish to make the very best possible impression with their pictures. That's why many of them invest the time and money required to have their photos taken professionally.   Note: Please bear in mind that some ladies can't afford professional photographs, so when you perform an advanced search, you will find both ladies with professionally taken photographs, and those with more natural or candid photos.

Bastille Day is the French national holiday, celebrated on July 14 each year. In France, it is called Fête Nationale ("National Celebration") in official parlance, or more commonly le quatorze juillet ("14 July"). It commemorates the 1790 Fête de la Fédération, held on the first anniversary of the storming of the Bastille on 14 July 1789; the anniversary of the storming of the Bastille fortress-prison was seen as a symbol of the uprising of the modern nation, and of the reconciliation of all the French inside the constitutional monarchy which preceded the First Republic, during the French Revolution.   “Our people are connected by long-standing relations of friendship, mutual respect and trust,” reads the message from the Russian President. “Meanwhile, the traditional Russian-French partnership always has been and remains a significant factor in European and global policy.   2010 has been declared the Year of France in Russia and the Year of Russia in France, and promises to be one more striking example of our fruitful dialogue and multifaceted bilateral cooperation. I am convinced that continuing effective mutually advantageous efforts – of which our joint participation in the G8 summit in L'Aquila is a good example – is perfectly compatible with the interests of our peoples, and helps strengthen pan-European stability and safety.”   Source: http://www.kremlin.ru/eng/sdocs/news.shtml#219562

We specifically prohibit payments to women corresponding with men through this website. Any person or entity shown to violate this prohibition is removed from the website. They come to the agencies out of their own determination, setting aside time out of their day to communicate with the men they prefer.   Not only is it grossly unethical to pay someone to pretend to be interested in someone else, it would also be a poor business practice for a site aiming to facilitate correspondence between two people who are genuinely interested in each other. We want our members to find love and recommend us to others looking for love as well. Engaging in such a practice as compensating the ladies for using our site would severely compromise our mission and our vision.   It also goes without saying that we do not allow any type of monetary exchanges to take place on our site. Though some men feel that the best way to show their affection to a woman is through presents, we only permit such exchanges to take place through our own personalized gift shop.   This way if there is a dispute or discrepancy it can be handled quickly and effectively through our customer service department.

The first step to finding your match on HotRussianBrides.com is comepleting your profile. Men can have a tough time with this. Here are some tips to help you find the right match for you. If you find yourself suffering a sudden case of writer’s block, you’re not alone.  Many people, when confronted with the daunting task of describing themselves, discover that they don’t know what to write or even where to begin.  Yet, a personal profile is one of the most important and powerful tools available to anyone looking for love online.    If you’re stuck at “I am an honest guy who likes to have fun,” the following tips may help you write a profile that stands out from the crowd and attracts a beautiful Russian bride.   First, be positive.  Avoid using negative statements in your profile.  We’ve all been on dates with people who couldn’t seem to stop complaining about their job, their ex, their car, etc.  Negativity, whether it’s on a date or in your profile, will not make the ladies swoon.  Instead, focus on using positive statements.  So, instead of saying “I’m sick of American women,” “I hate liars and cheaters,” or “Don’t waste my time unless you’re serious”, use phrases such as “I love Russian and Ukrainian women,” “I admire honesty and commitment in a relationship,” or “I’m looking for a serious, meaningful relationship with a woman who’s ready to get married!  If this sounds like you, send me an email!”    Show, don’t tell.  No matter how often your friends say that you’re a great guy, this really doesn’t mean anything to the women viewing your profile.  She’s never met your friends and has no idea what makes you so “great”.  Rather than sharing what others say about you, SHOW her what makes you a great person.  Talk about what you do in your daily life that makes you a man worth meeting and marrying.  For instance, don’t just say that you’re a great father, instead talk about how you spend time with your kids and what you like to do with them.  Avoid clichés.  Nearly everyone writes that they’re a great person who likes to have fun and is looking for an honest partner.  Instead of writing something obvious that may be taken for granted and glossed over, write about what makes you different from every other guy looking for a Russian or Ukrainian woman.  Have fun writing it, be clever and creative, and put your best qualities on display.  Remember that you’re not writing a resume; you’re introducing yourself to a woman who may turn out to be your future wife someday!  Be honest!  Do not be tempted by the anonymity of online dating; no matter how strong the urge is to exaggerate or stretch the truth, be honest in your profile.  Whether you are thinking about hiding your age, your marital status, or your secret love for Broadway musicals, you’ll be doing yourself no favors when the truth inevitably comes out.  Don’t forget to post a good photo!  A photo can say a thousand words, but if you upload a blurry, poor quality image, they may not be the thousand words you were looking for.  Only upload clear, recent photos of yourself.

Lilia: We were destined to meet! Our love story proves that there is room for miracles in everyone’s life and that miracles do happen, if you believe in them. I believed that a time would come and I would meet a man who would understand me without any words being spoken; a man who would love me even though I am not perfect; a man who would prove to me that true love is real and it exists. After eight years of being alone, I met the man who had always been in my dreams.   I have met him by chance on the Internet after eight years of loneliness and being a single parent, after eight years of emptiness and frustration. Neither he nor I could foresee this happening. Our first chats, our first letters and our first meeting were so hard to imagine. It was not easy for me, but the outcome made all the effort worth it! If you truly want to be happy, you have to fight through the difficulties and continue to remember that once you find the man who loves you, nothing else will matter anymore. Don’t give up and have faith is my motto and the principles that helped me find my love!   I am grateful to all the people at my agency for all their hard work, endless patience and perseverance even during the times when everyone else around me showed lack of faith. I want to tell you that my example proves that everything is possible should you believe in yourself.

After months of pushing for a new world currency, President Dmitry Medvedev had more than an idea to tout at his G8 news conference. He had the real thing.   With a broad grin, Medvedev held aloft a shiny gold coin Friday that he said represented a “symbol of unity” and a possible “future world currency.”   “I have some supranational currency in my pocket that I got as a souvenir. This is a test sample of a currency unit under the Unity in Diversity motto,” Medvedev said, holding the coin between two fingers.   “It is called the United Future World Currency. It can already be seen and touched,” he said, according to a transcript posted on the Kremlin’s web site.   Examples of the coin, worth $3,900 and produced by the United Future World Currency, a group backing the idea of a global currency, was presented to all world leaders attending the Group of Eight summit in L’Aquila, Italy.   The coin was made by Belgian Luc Luycx, who also designed one side of the Euro coins, and are called “eurodollars” in a symbolic call for a common currency to unite Europe and the United States.   Medvedev pulled out his coin when reporters asked him about new reserve currencies at the news conference that closed the three-day summit. “This is a symbol of our unity and our desire to solve such issues,” Medvedev said.   Russia and China have called for a “super currency” to replace the U.S. dollar as a reserve currency, and French President Nicolas Sarkozy said at the summit that the dollar’s supremacy as a reserve currency is outdated.   “This has become a regular theme now,” Medvedev said Friday. “We are discussing the creation or, to be more correct, the appearance of new reserve currencies, including the possibility of making the Russian ruble such a currency unit.”     From: http://www.moscowtimes.ru/article/1010/42/379464.htm

Bravo's new show "Miami Social" debuts tomorrow night. The show follows the lives of 7 socialites in the up-all-night party town. The two characters to watch are Maria and George.   Maria Lankina (pictured to the right) is a no-nonsense Russian bombshell who has taken Miami by storm. After moving to the city in 2005, it took her no time to make a mark on the scene, and only is seen at the chicest spots in South Beach. She currently works as an art director and freelance photographer after studying at the prestigious Miami Ad School, and has had the opportunity to travel the world for her job. She describes herself as "forward, rebellious and fiery," but is a passionate and devoted mom to 13-year-old Angelika.   George, a high-powered mortgage banker and also owns his own investment and consulting firm, has a hot Russian girlfriend called Lina. George stands at a crossroads in his life, trying to balance his party animal ways with settling down and making things work with Lina.   Bravo is expanding its arts and culture slate with the network's newest docu-series Miami Social. Heading to the country's hottest city to show you what life is like in the lively social scene of South Beach, Bravo explores the lives of a group of hot, young professionals – corporate types by day and party animals by night – as they navigate the sometimes murky waters of Miami's hottest locales. The show is on Tuesday nights at 10pm. More at http://www.bravotv.com/miami-social/
