Lilia: We were destined to meet! Our love story proves that there is room for miracles in everyone’s life and that miracles do happen, if you believe in them. I believed that a time would come and I would meet a man who would understand me without any words being spoken; a man who would love me even though I am not perfect; a man who would prove to me that true love is real and it exists. After eight years of being alone, I met the man who had always been in my dreams.   I have met him by chance on the Internet after eight years of loneliness and being a single parent, after eight years of emptiness and frustration. Neither he nor I could foresee this happening. Our first chats, our first letters and our first meeting were so hard to imagine. It was not easy for me, but the outcome made all the effort worth it! If you truly want to be happy, you have to fight through the difficulties and continue to remember that once you find the man who loves you, nothing else will matter anymore. Don’t give up and have faith is my motto and the principles that helped me find my love!   I am grateful to all the people at my agency for all their hard work, endless patience and perseverance even during the times when everyone else around me showed lack of faith. I want to tell you that my example proves that everything is possible should you believe in yourself.

Ivan Kupala Day (Feast of St. John the Baptist) is celebrated in Poland, Russia, Belarus and Ukraine currently on 7 July. Calendar-wise, it is opposite to the winter solstice holiday Korochun. Some early mythology scholars, such as Sir James Frazer, claimed that the holiday was originally Kupala a pagan fertility rite later accepted into the Orthodox Christian calendar.   Many of the rites related to this holiday within Slavic religious beliefs, due to the ancient Kupala rites, are connected with the role of water in fertility and ritual purification. Youths would jump over the flames of bonfires. Girls would float wreaths of flowers often lit with candles on rivers and would attempt to gain foresight into their relationship fortunes from the flow patterns of the flowers on the river. Men may attempt to capture the wreaths, in the hope of capturing the interest of the woman who floated the wreath.   Traditionally, unmarried women, signified by their garlands on their hair, would be the first to enter the forests. They are followed by young men. Therefore, consequent to the quest in finding herbs and the fern flower may be the blooming of relationships between pairs of men and women within the forest. That is one of the most romantic nights in Ukraine.   Some of the ladies on have invited their suitors to symbolically participate in this tradition with letters like the following:    “…That is one of the most romantic night in Ukraine. Pity you haven'tbeen here on that night cause if you had been you would have a uniquechance to see lots of beautiful single girls standing on the banks ofrivers with candles lit and throwing flower wreathes onto the water.Believe me that is an incredible view to see when a girl does this sheasks God to let her only intended to see it and take it out of thewater - if it happens and he will find her, they will be togetherforever. Writing this letter to you I am throwing my wreath onto the water - itis colorful, made of my dreams of you, warmed with my heart and mytender hands...Once you see it don't go pass it cause it is intendedfor you only.”     Information from:

As an added layer of protection to our clients, we now require the agencies we work with to record and submit video validation of the ladies. In this video, each lady must read and sign an agreement which states they are using the service of their own free will, they acknowledge that they are not being paid to use the service, agree not to ask for gifts or money, agree to our Terms of Use, etc. In order for a lady to maintain a profile on our website, she must participate in this validation program.   We introduced this revolutionary validation technique in response to the doubts and concerns voiced by our clients. This does not replace our current validation process; a lady must still provide photo identification and complete the interviewing process to verify her information before she can create a profile. Our new video validation procedure is just one more layer of protection for our clients and is exclusive to our service.   While there is no way for us to 100% guarantee anyone's safety when corresponding and meeting others over the internet, we are committed to doing everything we can to help protect our clients from fraud and deception. We feel that this program is a necessary and effective step in helping us achieve that goal.

I thought on the way to the embassy that it would be great to have his body embalmed and placed in Lenin’s Tomb on Red Square,” the man said.  Alexander Valov is certain that Michael Jackson would see the true value of such a suggestion. The man even said that he was already in talks with the sponsors who would be ready to invest in the project, as well as with the singer’s family – to have the body delivered to Moscow.
