Just as Western men prefer a woman who is healthy and fit, Russian women want an active man who takes care of himself. Two weeks ago, we shared a few tips to help men get fit. Here are four more ways to get, and stay, healthy for a special lady.

 

Get a Proper Night’s Rest

Though it may be tough to swing at times, sleeping a full seven hours or more can do wonders for your health and state of mind. Studies have shown that people who get a proper night’s sleep are more alert, less stressed, and less likely to indulge in unhealthy foods.


Eat Breakfast

After a good night’s sleep, it’s time to fuel up with a healthy breakfasts. Men and women who eat breakfast are less likely to be starved by noon and less likely to binge on sugar and fat than those who skip the morning meal. Eating early in the day can also jump start your metabolism, so grab a bowl of oatmeal before rushing off to work.

 

Connect with Others

When facing tough times, many men keep bottle up their emotions rather than share their feelings with family or friends. This can cause depression and high levels of stress, so don’t be afraid to connect with love ones who can offer support. Simple socializing can also be good for one’s health, including chatting with the ladies of HRB.

 

Laugh

Though it may seem silly, a hearty laugh is good for the body and good for the mind. Laughing not only reduces stress and lowers blood pressure, it may even boost your immune system. There’s plenty to laugh about in this world. If you tend to be on the serious side, lighten up and try to see the humor in life.
