Can I Give My Personal Contact Information to a Russian Woman?

2. June 2010 by Christy 0 Comments

From time to time, gentlemen are so eager to chat with Russian women that they attempt to put (or sneak) their personal contact information into an email or chat. While this desire is understandable, HotRussianBrides.com’s Terms of Use clearly prohibits such attempts.

Per our Terms, gentlemen may not write content that:

“disseminates telephone numbers, postal addresses, URLs, instant message IDs, email addresses or any other form of personal contact information unless, all IMBRA notification and release requirements have been completed via the "Intimacy Request" option and only then may personal contact information be exchanged between the Member requesting and the FNC consenting.”

While this policy may seem annoying or unfair, we have good reason for prohibiting members from releasing their personal contact information. Not only must we comply with the International Marriage Broker Regulation Act of 2005 (IMBRA), but we also want to keep both our gentlemen members and Russian ladies safe from harm and harassment. No one wants to worry about being harassed or having strange people show up at their door. For this reason, we have created a service that allows people to get to know one another without the worry that goes into exchanging addresses and phone numbers.

Remember, the “no personal contact info” policy is not forever. When the time is right, a gentleman may submit an Intimacy Request and share whatever information he wants once the lady approves it. Until then, we simply ask that members abide by our Terms which help us comply with IMBRA and help keep everyone comfortable and safe.
