Marrying a Russian Bride With Children

18. May 2010 by Christy 0 Comments

Many of the beautiful women on HotRussianBrides.com already have children. While there’s no reason you can’t have a happy, rewarding relationship with a woman who has kids, there are a few important things you should consider if you are thinking of popping the question.

Financial Obligations

Obviously, you must be able to support your new Russian bride and her child/children once they arrive. One or more children will bring additional, often unexpected, expenses and it’s important to keep this in mind so you can budget accordingly. Your spouse may be able to eventually help out, but remember that she will need time to get settled and adjust to life away from Russia before she can contribute to household expenses.

Mixed Families

If you have children of your own you need to consider how your families will mesh. The children may be thrilled with their new step-siblings or they may feel jealous, but either way there are bound to be a few rough periods. Being prepared for these challenges can take some of the stress out of the experience.

Plans for More

Some Russian women with children have no plans for more, while others may want to have a child with their new husband. Men, too, have their own hopes and plans for the future. Talk to your special Russian lady before you make any big commitments so that no one is surprised or disappointed. It’s possible that one or both of you might change your minds about the possibility of future children, but you should always discuss your initial plans before settling down.

Many men have met and married Russian women with children and have gone on to have healthy, happy relationships with their new wives. With a little thought, preparation, and ample communication there is no reason why you can’t do the same.
