Dealing With Critics of Hot Russian Brides

10. August 2011 by Christy 0 Comments

Members of HotRussianBrides.com may face two kinds of critics: well-meaning (or not so well-meaning) family and friends and other gentlemen seeking Russian brides. Here’s the best way to handle both types of naysayers.

Family and Friends

Thanks to the lingering stereotypes about Russian women and international dating, well-meaning family and friends may try to steer you away from sites like HotRussianBrides.com. Some may argue that Russian women are gold-diggers, green card scammers, or poor, miserable creatures desperate to escape Eastern Europe, while others may argue that the ladies on international dating sites aren’t sincere or that they aren't real women. So, what to do?

The easiest way to soothe a friend or family member’s troubled mind is to debunk inaccurate stereotypes. Talk honesty about your Russian dating experience and explain that not all women in Russia are devious scammers or poor, miserable prostitutes. While you don’t owe anyone an explanation for your personal decisions, it’s helpful to have convincing arguments when faced with Russian bride critics. You may not be able to convince everybody, but chances are good that at least a few of your family and friends will see Russian dating differently after hearing your side of the story.

Fellow Russian Bride Seekers

In addition to criticism from family and friends, many Russian daters also receive criticism from men who should be their allies – fellow Russian bride seekers. Many members of Russian dating forums and blacklist sites claim there is only way to successfully find a Russian bride or that men can only be successful if they use a certain site or service.

When faced with criticism from a fellow Russian dater, be respectful of his opinion but don’t let him bully you into signing up for service A or website B. Only you can decide which method of finding love is best for you. Every man is different and what works for one will not necessarily work for another.

Though it may be difficult, try to shrug off criticism from family, friends, and fellow Russian daters and instead focus on finding the lady of your dreams. Everyone has different opinions when it comes to finding a mate, but ultimately the only opinion that matters is your own.
