13. November 2009 by Marie 0 Comments

Dutch men are discovering the fascinating blend of femininity and strength in Russian ladies through HotRussianBrides.com. And the ladies like what they see: Men from Holland are known for chivalry, a sense of humor and intellectualism -- all turn-ons to Russian women!

The two cultures value directness in communication, resourcefulness and love of the arts.

If you find your Russian dream match and want to bring her to the Netherlands, she will be delighted with its tolerance and acceptance of foreigners. Holland is also rated number 1 in the world by UNICEF for putting the needs of children first.

First, though, you have to tackle the intricate immigration process. New laws have become more stringent. The Netherlands also requires new immigrants to learn the language, laws and culture of the country.

Immigration

The Dutch Immigration and Naturalization Service has restricted immigration in recent years. Men bringing foreign wives or partners into the country must also meet a minimum income, about 120 percent of minimum wage.

A Russian bride must first apply for the Provisional Residence Permit (MVV) at a Netherlands embassy or consulate in her own country. This will allow her to enter the Netherlands. She must register with the government within five days of entering the country.

After that, she will need to apply for a long-term residence permit at the Dutch Immigration and Naturalization service (IND).

Dutch Citizenship

To obtain citizenship, your Russian wife must be:

  • At least 18 years old
  • Lived continuously in the Netherlands for five years
  • Pass the Civic Integration Exam demonstrating competency in the Dutch language
  • Have a clean criminal record
