Happy Father’s Day!

14. June 2013 by Dasha 0 Comments

This Sunday, millions of Americans will honor the special fathers in their life, be it their own dad or a husband, grandfather, brother, or other relative. Happy Father’s Day to the dads of HRB! Russian and Ukrainian women admire men who are committed to their family.

Father’s Day in Ukraine, Russia

Father’s Day isn’t as big in Ukraine as it is in America, but the holiday is slowly gaining traction with Ukrainians celebrating on the third Sunday in September. Though not an official holiday, Father’s Day is a time for families to come together and honor dads for the love and support they provide. This year’s Father’s Day falls on September 15.

Russia, on the other hand, continues to celebrate Defender of the Fatherland Day, or Men’s Day on February 23, rather than a separate Father’s Day. Russian women celebrate Men’s Day by giving small gifts to the men in their lives, including fathers, and the holiday has become the male equivalent of International Women’s Day on March 8.

Current and future fathers are both welcome on HRB, as are men with no plans to start a family. Join Hot Russian Brides to chat and flirt with single Russian women today!
