Meet Miss Moscow 2010

6. July 2010 by Michelle 0 Comments

The 15th annual Miss Moscow pageant began with a parade of gorgeous Russian girls dressed in school uniforms prancing around on stage, in celebration of 2010 being the Year of the Teacher. Next, they changed into their workout gear of tank tops, shorts, and sneakers and demonstrated a choreographed fitness routine.

The swimsuit competition followed, along with the talent show, and then the lovely Russian ladies showed off their most glamorous gowns. There was even a special fashion show to model a unique collection of Ronnati shoes, which were stilettos encrusted with Swarovski crystals. In the end, 21-year-old student and model Natalia Pereverzeva took home the tiara.

“I did not expect that I would get the crown. I thought that it would just be good to take part in the contest. It took me months to get ready for it – I was taught how to walk, how to eat properly, how to speak and how to dress up. We had many consultations with dietitians, who told us why people gain weight and how to avoid it. I dedicate my victory to all of my relatives – my parents, my friends and to my boyfriend. I hope that he will be able to travel with me if I have to travel with my new status."

Natalia is focused on finishing her education at the Financial Academy of the Russian Federation Government and is a strong advocate of animal rights. She dreams of helping make the world a better place and looks forward to becoming a mother and being a good role model for her children.
