Moscow Prepares for 32nd Annual International Film Festival

2. June 2010 by Christy 0 Comments

Preparations are underway for the Moscow International Film Festival (MIFF) which will take place from June 17th-26th. MIFF will feature 15 full-length films from 14 different countries in addition to rare films and controversial hits. Some of the more scandalous entries include a French film that was rejected at Cannes for its “shocking eroticism,” a sadomasochistic film from South Korea, and a Russian documentary containing apocalyptic visions of the future.

Luc Besson, director of such films as "Leon", "The Fifth Element", "Angel-A", and "Nikita" will head this year’s jury.  Founded in 1935, MIFF is the second oldest festival of its kind.
