Mysterious, Interesting Tours for Euro 2012 Fans

7. February 2012 by Masha 0 Comments

Three Ukrainian organizations have teamed up to give tourists much more than football games this summer. The main Euro 2012 Department of Kyiv City State Administration along with the Mysterious Kyiv Tourist Organization and the Interesting Kyiv Information Center have created 16 sightseeing tours for football fans and guests.

"Fans will have a chance to see another side of Kyiv, its amazing sights, which they probably have never seen and hear of. This will help introduce interesting and unusual sides of our city to the many millions of attendees of Euro 2012," said Tetiana Slychyk, head of the department.

Each day different excursions will be scheduled, from romantic trips around the city parks to mysterious explorations of the underground monasteries. There will be tours of well-known museums and churches, as well as visits to more obscure streets and Cossack villages.

One special tour to tie in with the football theme will educate guests about the traditions of fan clubs and the history of Kyiv FC Dynamo.

"Tourists will also be able to take a trip on the River Dnipro, attend a party at a night club or enjoy real Ukrainian beer in one of the capital's pubs," said Slychyk. If you've been waiting for a good time to visit the Kyiv girls you've been chatting with, experience the excitement of Euro 2012 and go this summer!
