As 2010 winds down, many Russian cities are finishing up their selections of which gorgeous Russian girls will represent them in the Miss Russia 2011 pageant. Who will succeed Irina Antonenko?
With so many stunning Russian women to choose from, the competition is fierce. Over 80 regions in Russia host local beauty contests where more than 100,000 ladies audition. They reward the winners with a chance at the country's largest and most prestigious pageant, which takes place early next year.
All of the contestants must be single and between the ages of 17 and 23, with high personal aspirations and in pursuit of a good education. This year's winner receives $100,000, plus a college scholarship and advertising contracts with popular brands.
