Reporting Scammers on HotRussianBrides.com

16. July 2010 by Christy 0 Comments

Imagine you’ve come across a lady on HotRussianBrides whom you suspect of being a scammer. Do you:

a.    Cancel your membership
b.    Report her to INTERPOL
c.    Contact our customer service team
d.    Post her name, photo, and personal information on every blacklist site you can find.

Hopefully, you selected “C”. While we go to great lengths to protect members from Russian scammers, an occasional bad apple may slip through the cracks. We cannot deal with a scammer if we do not know she exists. Therefore, it’s important that our members report any suspicious activity as soon as possible.

What Sort of Behavior Should I Report?

If a woman on HotRussianBrides blatantly asks you for money or gifts please contact us immediately. Such requests are a violation of our Terms of Use and something we will not tolerate in our ladies. Unfortunately, not every potential scammer issue is this obvious.

While you’re welcome to contact us with any scammer concern, it may help to look at things from a lady’s point of view. Often, gentlemen who are certain they’ve spotted a scammer change their minds after they’ve considered the issue from a different angle. Here are a few articles about common things ladies do that some men see as suspicious, and why they’re not necessarily the sign of a scammer.

Again, you are free to contact us at any time if you believe a lady is a scammer. We will investigate the issue and remove the lady from our site, if necessary. However, misunderstandings are the cause of most scammer complaints on HotRussianBrides and we respectfully request that you allow us the opportunity to investigate an issue before you label a lady a scammer and abandon our service.
