Think You’ve Found a Scammer?

Have you encountered a woman on HRB who seems off or suspicious in some way? Think you’ve spotted a Russian scammer? Here’s the best way to report your concerns.

If something makes you uneasy, the best thing to do is report the issue to our customer service department. You can reach out through phone or email or chat with our live web hostess. We’ll then investigate your complaint and keep you informed of our findings. We look into all scammer complaints, no matter how small, so don’t hesitate to reach out.

Some men react to troublesome behavior by posting a woman’s name, photo, and information on every blacklist site they find or venting their frustrations online, often without contacting us. Other men do nothing and quietly cancel their membership. While these reactions are understandable, it’s also unfortunate as men can, and do, interpret innocuous behavior as the sign of a scam. Not only that, but we have no way to address a problem if we don’t know it exists.

While you’re ultimately free to do what you want when it comes to addressing a potential problem, our advice is to get in touch with customer service and avoid making assumptions. We work hard to protect our members from Russian scammers, but bad apples may occasionally slip through the cracks, and we appreciate members who help us remain vigilant.
