Why Positivity Matters

One of the most off-putting things a Russian lady can see in a gentleman’s profile is a lot of negativity. While many gentlemen do use the profile “About Me” and “Looking For” sections to speak about who they are, what they are looking for in a partner and information such as that, one of the biggest turn-offs Ukrainian women bring up is men that dwell on the negative.

While exhibiting your personality on your profile and your communication is important, it is also vital to remember what sort of message you are sending to Russian women – make sure you don’t paint a negative picture for your potential Russian bride!

What NOT to say in your International Dating Site profile

Stay away from self-deprecating remarks. These can sometimes be funny, sure, but most of the time you come off as someone with no confidence or you seem like you are fishing for compliments. Neither of these are very good strategies for snagging the Russian wife of your dreams.

The same goes for focusing the “Looking For” section on your profile on what you’re NOT looking for in a lady. Being picky is fine, but if you’re looking to impress someone, knowing what you want is much better than dwelling on what you don’t want.

What NOT to say in your emails and chat

Email and chat is a great way to recognize and establish common ground on dating sites. At least initially, it’s best to focus on this and not start nitpicking for differences, or relating the various troubles of your life at least until you feel that you and the lady have established a strong connection.
