Men who travel to countries of the Former Soviet Union and like to drink what the Russians drink will be happy to hear that two of the country’s best-selling brands are headed to the U.S. and the U.K.

Russian Standard is launching Green Mark from the newly-acquired Central European Distribution Corporation into the United States. Green Mark is the fourth largest vodka in the world. It’s already on sale in the UK, CIS, and Baltic States.

"The unique positioning and sheer size of Green Mark’s volumes in Russia and several other significant markets make it very attractive to US consumers," Russian Standard Vodka Americas CEO Leonid Yangarber said.

Meanwhile, the Russian vodka brand called Beluga Noble will officially launch in the UK this month at Royal Ascot’s Bessborough Restaurant. A special five-course lunch will be available on the menu which will include The Beluga Bubble, a vodka shot contained in a delicate bubble which bursts inside the mouth, and a Beluga sorbet.

There are many more premium Russian vodkas that suitors only get to sample when they are in Russia. Look over our Russian Vodka Guide to become more familiar with the top-selling brands.
