Ice Bar in St. Petersburg, Russia

On Valentine's Day this year, a ski resort in the Arkhangelsk region plans to open Russia's first ice hotel. 150 builders will use 3,000 cubic meters of snow and 500 cubic meters of crystal clear ice.

Located 850 kilometers north of Moscow, the heart-shaped ice hotel will house a 70-seat movie theater, a fitness gym, an ice bar, and even a wedding palace with several couples already set to exchange vows on it's opening day.

Nine rooms will be available for guests who are thick skinned enough to spend the night, which consists of sleeping bags on top of ice beds. The temperature of the hotel will always be right around 0° Celsius (32° F) and should last until the end of March.

Many other ice hotels exist around the world, with the first one built in Sweden in 1990. Canada, Norway, Finland, and Romania also reconstruct amazing ice hotels each year.
