Tips for Chatting Up a Russian Bride

20. July 2011 by Christy 0 Comments

Chatting up a Russian woman can be intimidating and gentlemen often struggle to come up with topics of conversation. If you’re not sure what to chat about, here are a few ideas to help get the conversation going.

Travel, Culture

Many Russian women are crazy about meeting new people and exploring new cultures, which explains why so many ladies are open to the idea of marrying a foreign gentleman. If you find yourself struggling for words, why not discuss travel or Russian culture? Some travel questions to consider are: Where have you been?  Where would you most like to go? What vacation did you like most? As for culture, try teaching one another new words or expressions, ask about Russian holidays and events, and share the customs of your own country. Chatting about travel and culture is a great way to learn what makes a lady tick.

Russian women are known for their devotion to family so what better way to strike up a conversation than to ask a lady about her loved ones? If a lady has kids, ask her to tell you about them and don’t hesitate to share anecdotes and pictures of your own family. Family talk is a great way to bond with a lady as well as get a good feel for the importance of family in her life.

Plans and Goals

Inquiring about a lady’s hopes and plans not only shows that you care, but also helps the two of you determine compatibility. Some questions to consider are: What are your long-term goals? Do you dream of working in a certain profession? Where do you see yourself in five or ten years? If a lady’s hopes and dreams closely correspond with your own, great. If not, don’t fret, but understand that vastly different goals could eventually cause problems in long-term relationship.

Not sure what to talk about? Family, travel, Russian culture, and a lady’s hopes and dreams are a few ideas to help you get started. Good luck and happy chatting!
