When you're visiting hot Russian brides in Ukraine and need a fast and affordable way to get around town, just look for the "M" signs and take a ride on the metro. There are three major subway systems located in Kiev, Kharkov, and Dnepropetrovsk.

Metro tokens cost only around 20 cents (1.70 Hrivnia) no matter how far you're traveling. You can buy them inside the metro station from the cashier or from dispensers on the wall. If you will be vacationing in Ukraine for a month or more, and you'll want to ride the metro every day, you may consider buying a pass.

Most of the metro signs are in Russian or Ukrainian so it helps to at least know what the cities' names look like in the Cyrillic alphabet. English language city maps often include metro maps so try to find one to make your subway experience easier.

The metro operates every day from 5:30am to 12:30am, with just two minutes for everyone to get on and off during peak hours.

Whether you travel around Ukraine by train, taxi, or the metro, it will always be an exciting adventure with new things to see. Start planning your vacation today!
