Ukraine Around the World: San Diego Cultural Museum

16. October 2012 by Masha 0 Comments

When dating ladies from a culture different from your own, it's smart to learn as much about it as you can. Fortunately, Ukrainian culture is so interesting that you'll often find at least one museum or cultural center in a city close to you.

The House of Ukraine in San Diego's Balboa Park is a non-profit community organization that welcomes members of Ukrainian birth or descent. The cultural museum displays artifacts, books, pictures, maps, and ethnic costumes.

The group also sponsors educational presentations, demonstrations, and events devoted to Ukrainian culture such as pysanky workshops, food fairs, Shevchenko celebrations, and more. Plus, they publish a newsletter and maintain an informative website.

The museum is open to the public every Sunday from noon to 4pm. It's part of the House of Pacific Relations International Cottages which is dedicated to furthering cooperation and understanding between national groups in the United States.

Another way to learn about your favorite ladies' culture is to ask them! The most enjoyable online conversations often start by sharing each other's traditions and cultural experiences. Log on to HotRussianBrides.com today and start learning more about Russia and Ukraine!
